The Imagine Mars Project builds on the success of the Mars Millennium Project, which inspired project participation of hundreds of thousands of youth from nearly every state in the union, see some at Mars Project Examples from Around the Nation.

Using project materials like those found in the Getting Started section of this Web site, educators and project leaders discovered a myriad of creative ways to draw upon the arts, sciences and technology to inspire youth to explore their communities and design whole or a part of a future Mars settlement.
